Parents will be asked to pick up their child if the child exhibits a fever of more than 100° while at daycare. Children can return to group care after being fever-free without medication for 48 hours.
We continuously monitor the health of all children in our care. Children must be symptom-free at drop-off. Parents will be notified if their child exhibits atypical behavior or symptoms.
All toys, manipulatives, and equipment are systematically cleaned and sanitized throughout the day and between use.
All shared surfaces and spaces are thoroughly deep-cleaned and sanitized throughout the day, every evening, and every weekend.
High priority is placed on the frequency and proper handwashing technique upon arrival and throughout the day.
All meals and snacks are provided in-house to minimize potential home-to-school transfer of germs at no cost to parents.
Play is critical to childcare development, and students are provided time to relax and play with friends! Students also enjoy outdoor play on the playground.
Students are provided with snacks during the afternoon meeting time. Students are also paired in small groups where they reflect on their day, discuss norms and expectations, and answer a question of the day.
Students are provided with opportunities to select an activity of their choice. Students can draw, color, and play with LEGOs or manipulatives.
Physical activity is also essential for childhood development. During active time, children get to express themselves through various platforms.
We provide a quiet, focused, and dedicated space for student work. Study time allows students with homework to complete their assignments. During this time, students also work on developing other skills.
